John Maxwell is one of the foremost experts in Leadership Development. In his workbook, Developing the Leader Within You 2.0, we will explore 10 vital leadership lessons that are intended to increase your leadership influence, your effectiveness and your impact. This program is beneficial for emerging leaders as well as experienced leaders.

We will delve into topics such as influence, priorities, character and serving others.

We will meet for 10 weeks via Zoom, for one-hour. Our discussions will tap into the reading assignment and exercises (to be completed prior to each session) and personal experiences that relate to the topic.

Sessions run 11am-12pm on the following dates: September 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th; October 7th, 15th, 21st, 28th and November 4th and 12th.

Mary is an Award-winning Human Resource professional with a passion for developing others through coaching, mentoring, facilitation and thought-leading. She holds certifications in leadership, life and health coaching. Mary has extensive experience in leadership development, team building, talent management and development. She is a published author and sought after facilitator. Mary has facilitated several PAR trainings including our most popular EQ: Emotional Intelligence Series.

This 1-hour session will allow participants to further develop their leadership skills by focusing on the key concepts of focus, time management, and self-management.  Participants will learn about the impact disruptions (digital and physical) have on focus, efficiency, and effectiveness in their day-to-day work.  Learners will then be exposed to practical skills and strategies that will enable them to manage their time and themselves more effectively. 

David Uhl was born and raised in Lancaster, Ohio.  He is a graduate of Lancaster High School, Ohio Christian University, and Capella University.  David holds a Bachelors Degree in Religion, a Masters Degree in Education, and Ph.D. in Organizational Management and Leadership.   He is an ordained minister with the Churches of Christ in Christian Union. 

David works full-time as the superintendent and CEO of the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities and serves as lead pastor at Rushville Church. He travels around Ohio as a Maxwell leadership speaker and trainer.  David serves on several boards and committees in his community and is currently serving as Rotary District 6690 Governor.  He was recently named to Ohio Governor Mike Dewine’s Faith-Based and Community Initiatives Advisory Board. 

David received the Young Professional of the Year Award from the Lancaster Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce in 2012 and was named one of Columbus Business First’s 40 Under 40 in 2018.

  • Attendees will explain the “sensory processing” of grief model and its application.

  • Attendees will define “griefburst.”

  • Attendees will identify three anticipatory grief activities.

  • Attendees will learn three strategies to support a grieving individual.

Tracey’s first-hand experience with losing a child client while serving as a Speech Language Pathologist for Lancaster City Schools laid the foundation for the work she now does at Fairhope Hospice & Palliative Care. In 2010, Tracey created and implemented the PALS for grieving children grief support program. Tracey now serves as the Grief Support Manager and coordinates all the agencies grief support programming. She holds the following licensure/certificates; Level 1 Certified Trauma Practitioner, The National Institute of Trauma and Loss in Children; Certified Grief Counselor, American Academy of Grief Counseling; Permanent Certification as Speech-Language Pathologist, State of Ohio Department of Education. Tracey is a published author and the recipient of Fellow in the American Academy of Grief Counseling (2021); Jane Johnsen Women of Vision Award (2020) and The American Red Cross Healthcare Hero Award (2012) .
